Airolo es un pueblo al norte del cantón de Tesino, cerca de la frontera con el cantón de Uri. Es el punto de inicio del legendario túnel del San Gotardo, el otro es Göschenen. Hoy nos fuimos a caminar con la raquetas de nieve en Lüina, Airolo. Aunque el clima en Mendrisio era totalmente despejado con un rotundo sol, en Airolo es clima estaba totalmente nublado y con un poco de neblina. Caminamos por el sendero cuesta arriba, bajo el castigo de un frío salvaje y mucho viento. Sin embargo, tuvimos acceso a un paisaje espléndido, y pude hacer unas fotos que espero les gusten. Airolo is a town at the north of canton Tessin, near the border with canton Uri. It is the starting point of the legendary St. Gotthard tunnel, the other one being Göschenen. We went out today to walk with out snowshoes to Lüina, Airolo. Weather was not as good as when the day started: it was cloudy, with some fog, very cold and windy. But we still enjoyed a spectacular view of the surroundings, and I got the opportunity to take some pictures of this very special place. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.
Airolo ist ein Dorf im Kanton Tessin, in der Nähe mit der Grenze mit Kanton Uri. Es ist der Anfangspunkt des legendären St. Gotthardtunnels, der in Göschenen endet. Wir wollte heute mit den Schneeschuhen wandern, und genau das haben wir in Lüina, Airolo, gemacht. Das Wetter war schwierig: bewölkt, teilweise neblig, sehr kalt und windig. Aber trotzdem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick von diesem wunderschönen Gebiet, und natürlich die Gelegenheit, Bilder zu nehmen. Klick die Bilder an, um sie grösser anzuschauen.
