De hecho, fue más de lo que esperaba. El evento fue un éxito total, el Olympiahalle de la ciudad de Innsbruck, en el estado del Tirol de Austria, un llenazo. En el post anterior, recibí algunos comentarios pidiendo las famosas fotos de los pantalones de cuero. Lastimosamente, la noche de Musikantenstadl fue extremadamente fría, y era suicidio ponerse ese atuendo. Sin embargo, para no defraudar al público, les adjunto una foto. Ese no es el atuendo típico completo: falta el sombrero, la camisa de rayas, los tirantes de cuero, las medias de lana hasta las rodillas y los zapatos estilo Caterpillar. La próxima vez, les prometo el atuendo completo, pero tendrán que esperar hasta Febrero, cuando se celebre el próximo Musikantenstadl en la ciudad suiza de Basilea.

It was indeed more than I expected. The event was a total success. The Olympiahalle in the city of Innsbruck was totally sold-out. Presented by Andy Borg, the event gathers musicians of great talent, both young and new artists, as well as famous ones like the legendary Rocco Granata, who performed live his song Marina, a very famous one here in Europe.

Die Klostertaler performed too, a group very anticipated by the audience, and where Susanne's uncle, Christian Torchiani, plays.

The city of Innsbruck was radiant as ever. With an almost clear sky, one could see the impressive mountains that surround the valley where Innsbruck lays. For those that may be near the Tirol in the near future, Innsbruck is a must-see city, letting the chance to know this place is unforgivable.

On the latest post I received commentaries of people asking for the pictures of me with the lederhose. Regrettably, this night was extremely cold, and wearing those pants to the Musikantenstadl would have been suicidal. Still, and just to not let the audience down, I'm posting here one picture. I am still missing much of the required equipment: the tirolean hat, the shirt, the leather suspenders, the wool socks up to the knees, and the Caterpillar-style shoes. Next time, I promise to have the full attire for you, but you'll have to wait until February, when the next Musikantenstadl is taking place in Basel, Switzerland.
