Ya nos recibió el invierno

Como los más hombres! Así fue como me eché a andar hoy en bicicleta a las 7 de la mañana, pues hoy amaneció la ciudad de Zúrich a 5 grados bajo cero. El problema cuando la temperatura baja de 0 grados, es que la humedad que recubre el suelo se congela, entonces sobre los caminos se forma una delgada capa de hielo, y si uno no se cuida rápidamente se va al suelo. Pero aún así con hielo y todo, me eché a andar 2 horas en bicicleta, camino a Bassersdorf.

Tuve también el placer, justo antes de llegar a Bassersdorf, de presenciar el amanecer, en un día de invierno cubierto de neblina, fue espectacular.

Today's ride was awesome for a very special reason: it was done at a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius below zero. It was so cold, that the hose of my Camelback (a hydration system) froze and so I ran out of water in the middle of the trip! Anyway, the ride was cool, check out the pictures above.

Just before arriving at Bassersdorf, I had the pleasure of witnessing the sunrise, that, mixed with the cold day and fog, made it very impressive.

What was funny, though, is that when I arrived back at home, I realized that my bike, my gloves, my jacket and helmet were all covered up with frost and some small pieces of ice!
