Me eché la media maratón en 2 horas 9 minutos, aunque aún no han publicado los resultados oficiales, creo que ando por ahí. Con esto termino una competencia de preparación para la maratón de Zúrich del 26 de abril. La verdad es que nunca había corrido tan rápido en mi vida (6min/km), pero como el tiempo meta era 2 horas 10 minutos, le tuve que poner. Al final de la competencia, justo en la meta, me encontré la sorpresa de que estaban dando birra regalada! Y es que la media maratón fue patrocinada por Fohrenburger, una cervecería austriaca de Vorarlberg. Así que, como no, me levanté un par de vasos de cerveza, y me los tomé sin interrupción... nunca una cerveza me supo tan buena como esta!
I ran the half-marathon in 2 hours and 9 minutes, although I am still waiting for the official times, which have not been released yet. With this, I finalize my last training competition before Zurich's marathon, which is on April 26. Never had I run so fast in my whole life (6min/km), but because the targeted time was 2 hours 10 minutes, I had to work hard today. At the end of the competition, I discovered they were giving beer for free, just after the finish line! It happens to be that a local brewery company, Fohrenburger, sponsored this half-marathon, so I grabbed 2 cups of beer and drank them without interruption... never had a beer been so tasty in my life!
