Netherlands - There are natural landscapes in the Netherlands!

From The Netherlands: a real Dutch experience
Talk to a Dutch and you will probably hear that there is no nature in the country. Effectively, the region consists above all of flat plains used to grow crops and for industrial production, where you will find no more than grass. However, this does not mean that there are no beautiful natural landscapes in the Netherlands! Today, we'll take a look at the Dutch dunes. These dunes border the coast of the Netherlands, and keep the sea water out of the land. Without these dunes, the Netherlands would probably not exist. In the areas where there are no dunes, the Dutch have built dikes. Because dunes move with time by the effect of wind and erosion, the Dutch have planted grass on top of them to avoid that. Simple and natural solutions for complex problems!
