Airolo - Lüina

Airolo es un pueblo al norte del cantón de Tesino, cerca de la frontera con el cantón de Uri. Es el punto de inicio del legendario túnel del San Gotardo, el otro es Göschenen. Hoy nos fuimos a caminar con la raquetas de nieve en Lüina, Airolo. Aunque el clima en Mendrisio era totalmente despejado con un rotundo sol, en Airolo es clima estaba totalmente nublado y con un poco de neblina. Caminamos por el sendero cuesta arriba, bajo el castigo de un frío salvaje y mucho viento. Sin embargo, tuvimos acceso a un paisaje espléndido, y pude hacer unas fotos que espero les gusten. Airolo is a town at the north of canton Tessin, near the border with canton Uri. It is the starting point of the legendary St. Gotthard tunnel, the other one being Göschenen. We went out today to walk with out snowshoes to Lüina, Airolo. Weather was not as good as when the day started: it was cloudy, with some fog, very cold and windy. But we still enjoyed a spectacular view of the surroundings, and I got the opportunity to take some pictures of this very special place. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Airolo ist ein Dorf im Kanton Tessin, in der Nähe mit der Grenze mit Kanton Uri. Es ist der Anfangspunkt des legendären St. Gotthardtunnels, der in Göschenen endet. Wir wollte heute mit den Schneeschuhen wandern, und genau das haben wir in Lüina, Airolo, gemacht. Das Wetter war schwierig: bewölkt, teilweise neblig, sehr kalt und windig. Making of: Winter video in the snow

Como es usual, estoy preparando un video del invierno 2009-2010. Para esto, me he ido particularmente a pueblos y montañas en los alpes suizos par traerles tomas de la singular belleza que adorna esta region alpina. El video aún no está listo, pero les voy dejando de camino fotos detrás de escenas. Espero las disfruten. Hagan click en las imágenes para verlas en grande.

As usual, I am preparing a video for the winter season 2009-2010. Because of this, I was traveled to small towns and mountains in the Swiss alps to take for pictures and footage to be used for this video. The video is of course still not done, but along the way I leave some back-scenes pictures for you to enjoy. Click on the images to enlarge them.

Wie üblich, mache ich ein Video für die Wintersaison 2009-2010. Dafür bin ich zu mehreren Dörfern und Bergen in den schweizer Alpen gereist, um Foto und Videoaufnahmen zu machen. Sattel, Kanton Schwyz

Sattel es un pequeño pueblo en el canton de Schwyz. Para el dia de hoy, decidimos hacer un corto viaje para probar las raquetas de nieves antes de hacer rutas mas exigentes. Al llegar al valle descubrimos una planicie cubierta de nieve, en un terreno facil para caminar. Desde Sattel, un lugar construido en el medio de los alpes de la Suiza central, se pueden ver las cimas de los montes Mythen, y si se camina mas hacia arriba, se puede ver el lago Aegerisee. Sattel is a small town in Kanton Schwyz. For today, we chose to do a short and flat snowshoeing route to test out our equipment. Once we got to the valley, we discovered a snow-covered flat plain, with a beautiful town built in the middle of the alps of central Switzerland. From Sattel, you can have a view of the summit of Mythen, and if you way some to the mountains, we can see the Aegerisee. I leave you with some pictures we took during this trip. Rigi, Canton Schwyz

Hace unos días me entró la fiebre de comprarme raquetas de nieve, y hoy las fui a estrenar. Rigi es una de las montañas más famosos en los alpes centrales de Suiza, quizás porque desde ahí se tiene una impresionante vista de los valles y de tres lagos que cerca de Arth y Lucerna. La experiencia de caminar con raquetas por nieve profunde fue totalmente nueva para mí, es un deporte fácil de practicar y super entretenido (especialmente si se lleva una cámara, jajajaja). Some days ago I had the urge to buy snowshoes, and I went out today to try them. Rigi is one of the most famous mountains in the central alps of Switzerland, maybe because from up there you have an impressive view of the valleys and the lakes near Arth and Lucerne. The experience of walking on top of deep snow was totally new to me, it is a ver easy sport to practice and very entertaining (especially if you happen to have a camera with you, hehehehe). I'll post a video later, I'm just still searching for the correct music. Click on the pictures below to view them larger.

Vor ein paar Tage hatte ich Lust auf Schneeschuhe zu kaufen, und heute habe ich sie probiert. Rigi ist einer der berühmtesten Bergen der Zentralschweiz, vielleicht weil von da oben hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Tal und die mehrere Seen in der Nähe von Arth und Luzern. Das Erlebnis, auf Tiefschnee zu laufen war vollkommend neu für mich. Schneeschuhen ist ein einfaches Sport, und sehr spannend (am meistens, wenn man auch eine Kamera dabei hat, hehehehe). Später werde ich noch ein Video veröffentlichen, mir fehlt nur noch ein passendes Lied. Klick die unten stehenden Bilden an, um sie grösser anzuschauen.
